Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo, from Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was raised in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also plays the role of drama instructor at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories were of going to the play school as well as watching her mother do the perform. Silk appeared in several commercials while she was young. She completed her studies at St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved in Toronto for her acting to advance, then she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009 and were married in a civil ceremony that December. When she converted to Judaism the couple were married again in an Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk gave birth to an infant son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk's work on television is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she got the main character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to the viewers during the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th, 2013 that the show would return for a fourth season of production. Fourth season debuted on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples ever. E! Magazine declared the couple as one of the Top Television Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most watched shows on the social networks.
